About

ARM Consulting was started with the idea of providing higher quality consulting services at lower costs to the customer.  We will talk more about that in a second, but first a little about the people behind ARM. 

 

Mark Miller has over 30 years of Information Technology experience in just about all industries.  Working as a programmer, DBA, Infrastructure resource, project manager, and an executive Mark has a wide arrange of experience.  ARM has a wide network of companies and independent consultants that we work with.  All of our consultants are specialist in their area of expertise and by working directly with these resources we are able to keep costs well below other technology companies.

ARM came to understand the shift in technology, along with the role of technical and functional resources can and do play in today’s tech world.  As Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Off The Shelf Software (OTS) become more popular to corporations, ARM recognized early on that ownership of technology systems could and some would be owned and managed by departments other than the Information Technology department. 

 

ARM has been an innovating company redefining the relationships between IT departments and Business units.  While some in the IT area sees this shift as a potential diminishing role, we believe the IT role is actually more important and more critical to the success of the business unit.  With the newest trend of cloud computing this concept is being taken even further and bringing technology and business resources together is more important than ever.
